  1. Still the desire

Lock yourself in towers of possessions

still the want to be free will arise.

    Stand in vari-coloured lights

still the longing to sit in the dark will beckon

  2. A Murder of crows on the Horizon

    Tears at another lover’s demise

    Tears at another dancer’s fall,

a murder of crows on the horizon.

Rejoicing when his palette sang of

    I’ve seen

a murder of crows on the horizon

    Tears to celebrate life

    Smiles to honour death,

    I’ve seen

a murder of crows on the horizon.
