But that doesn’t make them

The bars of your prison are familiar,

But that doesn’t make them

Comforting.

The bricks of your prison are solid

But that doesn’t make them

Strong.

The messages you received are many,

But that doesn’t make them

True.

The wounds you accepted are numb,

But that doesn’t make them

Healed.
